iDesign is based in Grand Cayman and creates interiors that reflect the essence of the people who live within them. Every space designed is guided by a desire to bring warmth, balance, and individuality to the environments where clients shop, dine, unwind, work or call home.
With a refined and intuitive approach, we listen deeply to understand your needs and aspirations, translating them into timeless and functional designs that elevate everyday living. Each project is a collaboration, a dialogue between designer and client, ensuring the final result feels both personal and effortlessly functional.
Drawing on years of experience and an eye for detail, iDesign has completed projects across the Caribbean, United Kingdom and North America. We offer a complete range of interior design services, from concept development and spatial planning to bespoke furnishing, material selection, and on site installation. Our mission is simple, to craft spaces that resonate with beauty, comfort, and meaning.
Alyssa Burgess
Co-Owner | Interior Designer
At iDesign, I create interiors that reflect each client’s distinctive lifestyle and vision. I began my studies in general arts at the University of British Columbia before earning a Bachelor of Interior Design from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Canada.
In addition to my work as an interior designer, I am a certified life and health coach, which allows me to bring a uniquely holistic perspective to every project. I take the time to understand each client’s interests, values, and goals, and I translate these insights into spaces that authentically reflect the character and lifestyle of those who inhabit them.
Inspired by my extensive travels, I draw from diverse cultural elements, architectural influences, and artistic styles to create interiors that are both sophisticated and creative.
Giselle Crayston
Co-Owner | Interior Designer
I completed my interior design studies at Chelsea College of Art and Design and King’s College London, before beginning my career at Urban Future Ltd. in London. There, I gained extensive experience delivering high-end projects in prestigious neighbourhoods such as Chelsea, Sloane Square and Knightsbridge.
In 2006, I founded iDesign Limited in Barbados and have since built a successful interior design practice. I am proud to be the region’s first interior designer to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation, reflecting my commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible design.
I have hands-on experience across every stage of the design and construction process. Detail-oriented and quality-driven, I am dedicated to ensuring that each project is thoughtfully conceived and executed to the highest standards. My portfolio spans a wide range of global projects, including private residences, corporate offices, retail spaces and restaurants.
I design using advanced 3D modelling and video animation tools, which allow me to explore every aspect of a space with care and precision. Clients and contractors can virtually walk through the proposed design before any construction begins, ensuring complete clarity and eliminating surprises, so the finished space aligns perfectly with the original vision.
